Dr Robert Campbell
MBBS, DRACOG
With 35 years of service to the Deniliquin community, Dr. Rob Campbell might almost be considered a local.
Working full time at the clinic, Dr. Campbell offers all general practice services, from routine blood pressure and skin checks to Worker's Compensation management and everything between. Dr. Campbell also regularly supports the Emergency Department at Deniliquin Hospital.
In addition to his GP role, Dr. Campbell has specialised skills in anaesthetics and obstetrics.
His commitment extends beyond the clinic, with regular outreach services to Mathoura and weekly visits to Deniliquin’s nursing homes.
Dr Marion Magee
MBBS, DRANZCOG, MForensMED, DAME, DipAcc
Dr. Marion Magee is one of our principal GPs and a cornerstone of the Practice.
Dr. Magee practices full time at the clinic and contributes to the Emergency Department roster at Deniliquin hospital.
Dr. Magee is a GP-obstetrician and can perform cesarean deliveries. She also has anaesthetic training and is able to manage your anaesthesia for procedures at Deniliquin hospital. In other words she can do it all!
Dr. Magee has a special interest in acupuncture and has further training to help her patients manage chronic pain and other aliments without medications.
Dr Rachel James
MBBS, DRANZCOG(adv), DCH
Dr. Rachel James graduated from Flinders University in 2013 and is a fellow with the Australian College or Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
With further training in obstetrics, Dr. James can follow your care from pre-conception all the way to the post-natal stage. Dr. James regularly delivers babies at Deniliquin Hospital and can perform cesarean sections if required.
Dr. James has a special interest in paediatrics. She completed her Diploma of Child Health whilst working with the paediatric department in Wagga and is involved in the Murrumbidgee PHN Enhancing Paediatrics in Primary Care (EPiPC) program, supporting improved access to coordinated paediatric care for children and families.
Dr Tess Plattfuss
MBBS, DRANZCOG
Dr Tess Plattfuss earned her Doctor of Medicine in 2018 from University of Queensland. She has spent most of her career in rural communities such as Cairns, Rockhampton and Cootamundra, before joining the Deniliquin Clinic team in 2024.
Dr Plattfuss completed her GP registrar training with Deniliquin Clinic and is due to fellow with ACCRM in 2026. She completed the RANZCOG Associate Training Program (Advanced Procedural) in 2025.
As a rural generalist, Dr Plattfuss offers all general practitioner services, and has an interest in obstetrics, antenatal care and women’s health. A local Blighty girl, she has returned home dedicated to providing the best quality health care for her community.
Dr Saeid Pourmand
MBBS
Dr Saeid Pourmand has over six years of clinical experience across primary care, community medicine and hospital-based training both in Australia and overseas.
Dr Pourmand has clinical interests in general practice, rural medicine, orthopaedics, chronic disease management, cardiovascular health, and preventive medicine.
With a genuine passion for helping people, Dr Pourmand believes the best part of medicine is making a difference where it matters most: in people's everyday lives.
He is committed to caring for local patients and families, is particularly interested in Aboriginal healthcare, and is dedicated to providing better health outcomes for the Deniliquin community.
Dr Anismis Bakini
MD
Dr Anismis Bakini graduated from Sydney’s University of Notre Dame in 2022 and his experience since then has largely been in rural medicine – including Wagga, Orange, Taree, Dubbo, Swan Hill and Echuca. He joins Deniliquin Clinic as a Rural Generalist Registrar and is undertaking advanced training in anaesthetics.
Dr Bakini grew up in Cowra and his career goals are set in rural healthcare – with a particular focus on improving access to high-quality, culturally-responsive and evidence-informed care for underserved populations, such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
He is looking forward to building his clinical skills and experiencing rural general practice while getting to know the Deniliquin community.
